Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Managed IT (Information Technology) Services (MSP) Technician to provide advanced IT support for small to medium-sized businesses. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for servers, networks, and software, resolving complex issues escalated from Level 1/2 technicians.
  • Design, implement, and manage secure, high-performance network solutions.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including maintenance, upgrades, backups, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Build strong client relationships through professional, timely support and tailored technology recommendations.
  • Lead IT projects, such as system migrations and network installations, coordinating with teams and vendors.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client environments and mentor junior technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations, conducting regular audits.
  • Provide on-call emergency support, including after-hours and weekends, to minimize downtime.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in IT support, with 2+ years in a Level 3 role; MSP experience preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred); certifications like CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or CCNA a plus.
  • Expertise in Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Experience with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaRMM), ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask PSA), and documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue).
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively.


Work Environment:

  • Hybrid role with onsite and remote work; occasional travel and valid drivers license required.
