Job Title: IT Project Coordinator Lead
Location: Columbia, SC
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Coordinator Lead to coordinate project activities, documentation, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication across multiple IT initiatives.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
3+ years of project management experience.
3+ years of project management experience in a healthcare insurance information technology environment.
Experience with project planning, technical effort estimation, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate multiple IT project activities from planning through completion.
Assist with developing business requirements and project plans.
Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and issues.
Coordinate internal teams, vendors, management, and external organizations.
Maintain project documentation, metrics, and status reports.
Monitor deliverables and support timely project completion.
Assist with portfolio and program planning activities.
Support risk management and mitigation efforts.
Facilitate project communication among stakeholders.
Manage multiple high-priority projects and competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft project management tools.
Proficiency with Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel.
Risk management experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and stakeholder engagement skills.
Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems experience preferred.
PMP certification preferred.

Required Certifications

None required. Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
