Senior Network Engineer
Pay Range: $70–$80/hour
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise network environment. This role is best suited for a true senior-level engineer with deep, hands-on Cisco expertise and real-world experience implementing Software Defined Access (SDA) and TrustSec in complex environments.
This is not a junior or mid-level role — candidates must bring extensive enterprise experience and be comfortable owning design, implementation, and optimization efforts.
About the Role
You will work in a large enterprise network supporting 5,000–15,000+ network nodes, contributing to architecture, security, and operational excellence. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills as well as the ability to operate independently in a mature IT environment.
Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise Cisco network infrastructure
- Lead and support SDA and TrustSec initiatives (full lifecycle implementation experience preferred)
- Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of:
- Cisco routers and switches
- Network security and access technologies
- Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of LAN/WAN environments
- Ensure network performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to support enterprise initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking technologies
- Proven experience working in large enterprise environments (5,000–15,000+ nodes)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA)
- Cisco TrustSec
- Ability to operate independently in a senior-level role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
