SQL Database Developer
Location: Remote, EST/CST Zone
Type: Contract, 3+ Months
Eligibility: US Permanent Residency Required. No C2C Partnerships.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience developing solutions with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL.
• Demonstrated experience developing and optimizing: Stored procedures Views Functions Complex queries Database schemas and objects
• Strong understanding of: Relational database design Query optimization Execution plans Index design Transactions Locking and concurrency Data integrity Error handling
• Experience with enterprise data migration, transformation, integration, reconciliation, or data-quality initiatives.
• Experience using Git-based source control and modern development practices.
• Experience working within structured software-development and change-management processes.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI coding assistants or Agentic AI systems during software development.
• Ability to critically review and correct AI-generated SQL and technical recommendations rather than accepting generated output without validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Tasked with creating processes that convert structured data into defined deliverables necessary to load into a third party systems (Workday).
• Designing, developing, documenting, and implementing new and existing technical solutions.
• Incorporate Generative AI and Agentic AI into appropriate phases of the SDLC to improve developer productivity and software quality.
• Accountable for all parts of the software development lifecycle for their projects.
• Actively participating in team activities and knowledge sharing, including SCRUM ceremonies.
• Working collaboratively and effectively with all members of the team (PO, BA, QA, Developer).
• Collaborating with other Technology Services team members and key business stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Thoroughly testing technical solutions via unit tests, integration tests, and others as appropriate.
