KS Staffing Group is currently seeking experienced Cable Technicians long-term in a telecommunications and low voltage environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber as needed)
- Perform cable routing, pulling, dressing, and labeling
- Install and wire low voltage panels and telecommunications equipment
- Rack and stack network equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all site safety and compliance regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of structured cabling or telecommunications experience
- Experience with low voltage panel installation
- Ability to terminate RJ45, patch panels, and network drops
- Basic understanding of fiber is a plus
- Ability to work from ladders and lifts
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
