JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Analysis Technician to join our lab team. The role involves performing chemical analysis using ICP-MS and manual titration techniques in a cleanroom environment. This position may require night shift work and the use of semiconductor cleanroom PPE (e.g., SMOCK, gloves, safety glasses). Candidates with prior lab experience are highly preferred.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct precise chemical testing using ICP-MS and manual titration methods
- Follow laboratory protocols and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
- Record and report test results with attention to accuracy and traceability
- Perform calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment
- Wear cleanroom PPE (SMOCK, gloves, etc.) and comply with semiconductor cleanroom protocols
- Support lab audits and documentation requirements
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in quality and process support
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a college-level program in chemistry, chemical technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred)
- Willingness to work night shifts if needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to wear and work in full cleanroom PPE for extended periods
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory, especially in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ICP-MS operation and manual titration techniques
- Understanding of cleanroom protocols and safety regulations
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed in a controlled cleanroom environment
- Must wear appropriate cleanroom PPE (SMOCK, gloves, goggles, etc.) at all times while on the lab floor
