This role works closely with engineers, field crews, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, detailoriented, and comfortable supporting both digital and paper-based workflows in a fast-paced field environment.
Essential Job DutiesProvide administrative and logistical support to field operationsSupport field technology, including iPhones and iPads (troubleshooting, updates, downloads)Assist engineers with gathering, preparing, and organizing project data and documentationGenerate and distribute program and field reportsPrepare, submit, and track 811 Dig Tickets in accordance with project and state requirementsReconcile paper documentation with digital systems (timecards, checklists, records)Perform minor purchasing through company systems as neededMaintain accurate material, equipment, and tooling recordsSupport updates to standards libraries and ensure field access to current documentationAssist with continuous improvement of field documentation and data-tracking processes
RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of administrative, document control, or office management experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentProactive problem-solver with a high level of accountabilityAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningValid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or mining environmentsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degreeExperience with PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat or BluebeamAbility to work in active field environments and varying weather conditions
