Job Summary
We are engaging experienced Open Source GitHub Maintainers to support a customer project focused on reviewing and evaluating AI-generated code. In this role, you'll apply your software engineering and open-source experience to review code patches generated by large language models (LLMs) and provide professional assessments and detailed feedback.
Applicants must have clear open-source contributions and a public profile, such as GitHub or GitLab, that demonstrates their experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate code patches generated by LLMs for open-source repositories.
- Review code for correctness, quality, maintainability, and alignment with project requirements.
- Provide detailed written feedback and justification for each assessment.
- Conduct peer reviews of work submitted by other subject-matter experts.
- Apply practical open-source development and code-review experience to evaluate AI-generated contributions.
- Complete assigned tasks according to project quality standards and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source repositories.
- Proven experience reviewing code submitted by other contributors.
- Strong software engineering experience in one or more required programming languages.
- Active GitHub, GitLab, or similar public profile demonstrating open-source contributions.
- Strong written communication and technical review skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Selection Process
- Submit an application and complete the screening questions.
- Complete an AI interview of approximately 10 minutes.
- Hiring Manager review.
Compensation
Compensation is output-based, with experts paid per task that meets project specifications. The time required may vary depending on experience and workflow. Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
Start Timeline
Selected candidates are expected to begin their first tasks within 24–48 hours after completing onboarding.
