Role Overview\n
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Architect to define and lead the quality engineering and test strategy for an advanced Edge Compute Hosting Platform designed to securely host, orchestrate, deploy, and manage applications across distributed edge environments.
\n
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test architecture, cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Linux/embedded environments, test automation, CI/CD, and non-functional testing.
\n
This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can establish robust test frameworks, drive automation, validate cloud-edge integrations, and provide quality leadership throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Define and own the overall end-to-end test strategy, test architecture, quality governance, and release quality processes.
- Establish comprehensive testing approaches covering functional, integration, API, system, regression, and end-to-end validation.
- Lead validation of containerized application hosting, orchestration, workload deployment, lifecycle management, and multi-tenant environments.
- Design and execute test strategies for Kubernetes and Docker-based platforms.
- Validate cloud-to-edge integration, including provisioning, device/application onboarding, configuration management, software deployment, and OTA updates.
- Lead testing of microservices, APIs, distributed applications, and cloud-edge communication.
- Develop strategies for reliability, resiliency, failover, recovery, scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery testing.
- Validate system behavior under network disruptions, service failures, node failures, application failures, and other adverse conditions.
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Cucumber, Robot Framework, or similar technologies.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Establish continuous testing, automated regression, quality gates, and release validation processes.
- Validate platform observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and related monitoring/logging technologies.
- Analyze test results, identify quality risks, track defects, and establish measurable quality metrics.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Software Development, DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Architecture, and Security teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to QA/Test Engineering teams.
- Define release-readiness criteria and communicate quality status, risks, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills\n
- \n
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a Test Architect, Lead Test Architect, QA Architect, or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Strong experience testing Edge Computing, Cloud-Native Platforms, Distributed Systems, Hosting Platforms, or similar infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- Strong Linux experience with exposure to embedded systems/platforms.
- Experience testing microservices, APIs, containers, and distributed applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud-edge integration and deployment architectures.
- Experience with performance, scalability, security, reliability, resiliency, failover, and disaster recovery testing.
- Strong experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python; basic knowledge of Go is desirable.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar DevOps/CI platforms.
- Experience with Jira/XRAY, ALM, or equivalent test management platforms.
- Experience with Cucumber, PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar automation technologies.
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or comparable monitoring and observability tools.
