Mandatory Skills:

· Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript and/or Python.

· Proven expertise in UI, API, and Database test automation.
\n
· Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to build and maintain scalable automation frameworks/reusable components.
\n
· Exposure to API testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test reporting frameworks.
\n
· Experience with AI-assisted test automation tools or intelligent automation frameworks is an added advantage.
\n
· Solid understanding of functional testing, including the ability to:
\n
· Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
\n
· Design and execute functional, integration, progression, and regression test scenarios.
\n
· Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure complete test coverage.
\n
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with a quality-first mindset.

Nice to have Skills :

· Knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
\n
· Experience with Mainframe testing, including validation of legacy applications and integration testing with distributed systems.

Roles & Responsibilities
\n
\n
QA Leadership & Governance
\n
· Lead and manage a team of QA analysts, ensuring effective task allocation and delivery tracking.
\n
· Establish QA governance, standards, and quality benchmarks across projects.
\n
\n
Test Strategy & Execution
\n
· Own the test strategy for manual testing, including scope, approach, tools, and timelines.
\n
· Oversee execution of functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities.
\n
\n
Stakeholder Collaboration
\n
· Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related activities for business and IT stakeholders.
\n
· Work closely with product owners, developers, and architects to ensure quality alignment with requirements.
\n
\n
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
\n
· Perform internal and external quality assurance checks for deliverables.
\n
· Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA practices.
\n
\n
Mentoring & Capability Development
\n
· Mentor and guide junior QA team members, enhancing their testing skills and domain knowledge.
\n
· Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the QA team.
\n
\n
Risk & Compliance Management
\n
· Identify testing risks early and provide mitigation strategies.
\n
· Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory quality standards (especially relevant for BFSI projects).
