Information Technology Project Coordinator
Job Description
Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Dekalb, IL – hybrid remote with 25% - 50% travel / domestic and international
Duration: 12-36 months – contract to hire
I am looking for a Project Coordinator to support and contribute to an ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on project coordination experience or junior project management capabilities. You’ll balance administrative support with real project execution, working closely with senior PMs, vendors, and global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 50% project support and administration, including:
- Scheduling meetings, taking notes, and distributing action items.
- Ensuring project documents are organized, complete, and up to date.
- Coordinating project logistics, events, and communications.
- Provide 50% project coordination/management, including:
- Supporting project timelines, deliverables, and task follow-up.
- Assisting in tracking project progress and status reporting.
- Helping drive execution of smaller project components or parallel workstreams.
- Work closely with the ERP Implementation project teams, acting as a liaison between business and IT teams.
- Utilize MS Project and MS Office tools to manage documentation and schedules.
- Collaborate in a hybrid work environment with flexibility for 25–50% domestic and international travel.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Junior PM.
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle both admin and execution responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through and anticipate project needs.
- No degree required – skills and experience outweigh formal education in this role.
- Experience supporting ERP or D365 implementations is highly desirable but not required.
- Ideal for someone who is hands-on, flexible, and proactive in a fast-paced global environment.
- Role is open to contract-to-hire with the potential for full-time placement.
