Job Duties
\n
- \n
- Quickly understand existing architecture, codebase, and development workflows.
- Independently design and develop Application software components per defined requirements and architecture, following design principles and coding standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management team and other engineers to ensure project success as a technical member of the team.
- Follow defined SDLC procedures to ensure software quality through code review, unit and component tests, code analysis, and defect management.
- Author software engineering documentation following R&D procedure per the Quality Management System.
- Clearly communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions.

Requirements
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related discipline & 5+ years of work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented programming in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Prior contractor or consulting experience with a record of success joining teams mid‑stream and ramping up quickly.
- Experience in Qt/QML framework, Linux, and/or Docker.
- Demonstrated knowledge of full SDLC and Agile software development with tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, unit testing, code coverage, CI/CD, security, and task/defect/requirement management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of linear algebra, computational geometry, computer graphics, and software architecture design (e.g., design patterns and software modeling).
- Experience in medical imaging, image processing, computer vision, algorithm development, computer-assisted surgery, or robotics.
- Experience with biomedical software development or software development in a regulated environment.
