Job Description
Our client is actively seeking a Sr. IT Program Manager for their North Chicago headquarters.
This opportunity is 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems/Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proven Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills are required.
- 8+ years of experience in project management
- Experience managing SDLC projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- PPM Tool experience
- Pharmaceutical experience
Primary Function:
- Develop a fully integrated end-to-end IT ecosystem that will cover every aspect of the early- and late-stage critical-to-quality factors.
- This system will streamline data management, improve risk assessment and mitigation, and enable real-time data-driven intelligent decision-making across studies, processes, vendors, assets, and programs.
- Aims to improve the efficiency of the trials, guarantee compliance with GCP standards, and foster ongoing innovation and value throughout AbbVie’s portfolio.
- Develop, execute, and manage multiple IT projects within their defined scope(s).
- Manage a multitude of interrelated project activities and lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion.
- Build and manage project’s work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.
