Job Summary

The Software Engineer maximizes the value LBP receives from its business systems, data, and technology. The role builds and supports custom solutions for Epicor Kinetic, delivers business intelligence, and finds opportunities to use AI and automation to eliminate manual work. The Engineer also serves as an IT resource as the main contact for our IT solutions provider to help resolve everyday technology issues. The Engineer partners with departments across the organization to improve data accuracy, system adoption, operational performance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
\n
Software and Business Systems
\n
- \n
- Build, test, and deploy custom solutions for Epicor Kinetic and connected systems, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Serve as an internal Epicor Kinetic expert, troubleshoot system issues, and help employees use the system effectively
- Stabilize and optimize Epicor Kinetic, identify functional gaps, and support new implementations that deliver practical business value
- Evaluate alternative solutions to problems and recommend the best fit
- Apply software engineering expertise to build customized solutions for Epicor
- Support Finance team in achieving its goals

Data, AI, and Automation
\n
- \n
- Own the data governance of LBP’s business intelligence and data capabilities, so employees and leadership have accurate, accessible information
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Identify and develop opportunities to use AI, agents, automation, and emerging technologies to improve accuracy, increase productivity, and create new capabilities

General IT Support

- Serve as our main liaison contact with our IT solutions provider for employee technology requests and resolve issues in person and remotely
- Track support requests through resolution, and escalate to the right person or vendor when needed
- Maintain an inventory of hardware, software, and licenses
\n

\n
\n
Training and Collaboration

- Provide hands on support, training, and documentation that make business systems easier to use
- Partner with departments on technology, data, ERP, automation, and process improvement projects
- Contribute to team processes, policies, and procedures

Minimum Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of Mircosoft.net programming experience
- Epicor Kinetic and/or Power BI programming experience preferred
- Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress databases (basic)
- Familiarity with AI, automation, and agent tools preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $90-100,000 depending on experience
\n
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
