Hardware Design Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have 3+yrs experience designing and troubleshooting peripheral circuitry or digital interfaces for FPGA and/or mincorcontrollers.
Key Responsibilities
- Document the design with digital interface for system architecture and design specs
- Provide proof of concept (through simulations, evaulation board...)
- Support schematic capture and board layout on FPGA, microprocessors, and their peripheral circuitry or digital interface
- Provide proof of design through post layout signal integrity simulations on high speed digital interface
- Support system integration
- Support test procedures and repair for production
Qualifications
- Must have 3+yrs experience designing and troubleshooting peripheral circuitry or digital interfaces for FPGA and/or mincorcontrollers
- System design of FPGA, Microprocesser and CPLD
- EMMC, DDR4, flash memory and digital interface (including SPI, I2C, JTAG, CAN bus)
- Digital circuitry (including TTL, LVTTL, CMOS, LVCMOS, PECL, LVPECL, LVDs)
- Experienced with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies
- Matlab, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, HyperLynx
- Some software experience could help
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
