Position Summary
This Project Controls Scheduler position provides support to Program Controls Manager in managing construction projects in planning and scheduling. This is an on-site role requiring a minimum presence of 20 hours per week at the project location.
Job Responsibilities
Project Planning and Scheduling
· Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely project execution.
· Create and maintain project baseline schedules, implementing updates based on project scope changes, risks, and resources.
· Integrate schedules with other project plans and adjust as needed to reflect changes in scope or timelines.
· Monitor and track project milestones and deadlines to ensure the project stays on schedule.
Risk Management
· Identify schedule risks and collaborate with the project team to implement corrective actions.
· Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential issues.
· Support the development of risk mitigation plans and track risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Data Analysis & Reporting
· Gather, analyze, and interpret project data to identify trends and performance metrics.
· Provide recommendations to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
· Change Management
· Track and manage changes to the scope, schedule, and budget of the project.
· Ensure all changes are documented and approved according to project governance processes.

Collaboration & Communication
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
· Communicate regularly with project managers, senior management, and stakeholders regarding project performance, issues, and updates.
· Support the preparation of presentations for project reviews and meetings.
Qualifications
· 5-8 years of experience in business operations, project planning and scheduling, construction management or project management.
· Project scheduling experience with large capital projects.
· Experience with appropriate software tools, P6 (Primavera), MS Project and Smartsheet etc.
· Experience with project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, reporting, and change management
· Competency in interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
· Competency in making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Salary Range
$125,000 – $180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
