Who We Are
Ally Behavior Centers delivers high quality, center-based ABA therapy for children diagnosed with autism. With centers across multiple states and rapid expansion underway, we're investing heavily in our internal technology stack to support operational scale, clinical quality, and a more connected experience for the families we serve.
We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help lead the next chapter of Ally's technology platform with ownership across internal tools, operational automation, and client-facing systems. This is a high autonomy role for a builder who enjoys turning complex processes into elegant, scalable software.
Join us in building technology that helps children thrive!
What You'll Build
You'll partner with our executive and operations teams to define and build core platforms that power Ally's growth:
Internal Systems & Tools
- Develop tools that automate scheduling, compliance, and staffing starting with our intelligent, rule based scheduling engine.
- Build internal dashboards that surface key metrics, exceptions, and task queues for clinical and ops teams.
- Drive automation of high volume workflows currently managed via Excel, Google Sheets, or RPA.
Family & Client-Facing Tools
- Design and implement lightweight applications that connect our families to their child's care from attendance alerts to self-service onboarding.
- Integrate with third-party systems (e.g., CentralReach, Rippling, ClickUp, G-Suite) to streamline the client experience while ensuring compliance.
CRM & Operational Backbone
- Lead the implementation of our next gen CRM and task routing system, enabling proactive outreach, referral tracking, and follow up workflows.
- Design infrastructure and workflows that unlock cross functional collaboration across scheduling, intake, billing, and clinical teams.
What You'll Do
- Choose the architecture and tech stack; stand up systems from the ground up.
- Translate complex healthcare rules into deterministic logic, constraint solvers, or workflow engines.
- Build clean, usable interfaces for both technical and non-technical users.
- Act as both product manager and engineer: defining requirements, writing tickets, and shipping iteratively.
- Partner with operations, clinical, and revenue cycle teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Ensure all systems follow best practices for HIPAA, data security, and auditability.
Who You Are
- You're a hands-on technical leader who thrives in ambiguity and wants high ownership.
- You've built internal tools, ops platforms, or complex scheduling/workflow systems from scratch.
- You're as comfortable architecting backend systems as you are collaborating with non-engineering stakeholders.
- You seek meaningful work and enjoy solving real-world problems that improve people's lives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full stack or product engineering roles.
- Fluent with modern web frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Rails, etc.).
- Proficient in relational data modeling and query optimization (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to define and manage projects end-to-end, including architecture, delivery, and iteration.
- Bonus: familiarity with RPA, scheduling algorithms, CRM platforms, or HIPAA compliant design.
- Bonus: experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, or high growth service organizations.
What We Offer
- Base salary: $150,000 - $200,000
- Quarterly bonuses based on personal and company performance
- Guaranteed semi-monthly paycheck (24)
- Medical + HSA, Dental, and Vision coverage through Cigna
- 401(k) plan with discretionary company match.
- Short-Term Disability (100% Employer-Paid) & Voluntary Long-Term Disability
- Company-sponsored DashPass
- Employee Assistance Program
- Term-Life/AD&D Insurance
- Whole Life Insurance
- Critical Illness with Cancer Insurance
- Accident Insurance
- Hospital Confinement Insurance
- CEU assistance and professional development opportunities
- 18 days of paid time off plus 9 paid holidays
