Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Reports and Information Manager brings structure to complex and sometimes inconsistent project data on Data Center construction program, consolidating information from multiple sources into clear, accurate and actionable reporting for project teams and senior management. This is not an administrative reporting role: the Manager understands the underlying information, challenges inconsistencies, identifies trends and helps the team make informed decisions quickly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather, validate, organize and reconcile information from project controls systems, contractor reports, schedules, cost reports, procurement systems, document management platforms and field teams.
  • Produce concise, accurate summary reports that communicate key trends, risks, issues, variances, decisions and required actions.
  • Check data quality, identify inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies to maintain reliable reporting outputs.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations (Power BI and Excel) that present performance clearly.
  • Establish and maintain reporting structures, data registers, reporting calendars, templates and information workflows.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to close data gaps and own reporting deliverables.
  • Present information to project teams, functional leads, contractors and senior management, explaining what the data means.
  • Work with Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, IT and contractor teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong reporting, information management, project controls or project administration background on large-scale construction, data center, power generation, infrastructure or other major capital projects.
  • Proven ability to integrate data from multiple sources and distill it into meaningful summary reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
  • Disciplined approach to data accuracy and quality control.
  • Understanding of how schedule, cost, procurement, engineering, contracts, quality, safety and field progress information connect.
  • Clear communication skills at project and senior management levels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Power BI experience (dashboards and trend visualization).
  • Data center construction experience.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Organized, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Adaptable with incomplete information, multiple formats and changing requirements
  • Hands-on ownership of deliverables
  • Collaboration and strong interpersonal skills
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset; moves between detailed analysis and executive reporting

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate can establish order, identify what matters and give management a reliable view of project performance when information is incomplete or inconsistent. Data-handling skill, sound judgment and clear communication matter more than familiarity with any one software tool.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Fast-paced construction program with aggressive schedules, rapidly evolving priorities and multiple contractors working concurrently. Hands-on, site-engaged role.
