Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support large-scale, business-critical technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and successful delivery of projects across the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project leader with strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of leading complex software development, SaaS, and cloud-based initiatives. This position requires someone who can navigate competing priorities, facilitate collaboration across diverse teams, and drive successful outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead medium to highly complex projects through the full project lifecycle utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, communication plans, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate project resources, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract deliverables, and third-party engagements throughout project execution.
- Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder discussions, workshops, and executive-level communications.
- Perform change management activities in accordance with organizational standards and project governance requirements.
- Develop and maintain project status reporting, dashboards, metrics, and executive summaries.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks proactively while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct gap analysis, root cause analysis, and provide recommendations to improve project success and operational outcomes.
- Ensure project activities comply with established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Support software development, SaaS, cloud-based, and enterprise technology initiatives.
Preferred Experience:
- Extensive project management experience leading medium to large-scale technology initiatives.
- Strong experience managing software development, SaaS, cloud, and enterprise application projects.
- Demonstrated success utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, vendor management, and change management practices.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- Familiarity with PMI methodologies, PMBOK standards, and project management best practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working within highly regulated, government, healthcare, or enterprise environments is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and project quality.
