$22-$27/hr | Part-Time | Silver Spring, MD (Montgomery & Prince George's Counties)

Caring Transitions of Silver Spring North is a veteran-owned senior relocation and estate transition company serving Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. We help seniors and their families navigate relocations, downsizing, and estate sales with compassion and real hands-on support.
THE ROLE
You're the heartbeat of every job we run. You'll arrive on-site ahead of the team, set the tone, and ensure every project is executed with precision and care. You serve as manager-on-duty in the field, working directly with the owner. Professional movers handle furniture and heavy lifting - your focus is leading the team through sorting, packing, staging, and resettling.
Outside employment is welcome as long as there is no conflict of interest.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Arrive 30 minutes before the team, assess the job, and assign objectives
- Lead team through sorting, packing, staging, and resettling tasks
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and families
- Manage labor hours and keep projects on schedule
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and incidents reported immediately
- Mentor and support team members on-site
WHO YOU ARE
- 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience
- Background in moving, senior care, home services, or organizing preferred
- Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
- Dependable, punctual, and organized
- Able to stay on your feet all day and lift household items up to 25 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
WHAT WE OFFER
- $22-$27/hr based on experience
- Part-time to start; consistent 15-20 hrs/week after 90-day period

- Uniform provided, biweekly pay, 90-day review

Weekend availability required. Background check and confidentiality agreement required upon hire.
