Salary: Up to $250,000 base salary – dependent on experience

We are currently partnered with a well-established, employee-owned electrical contractor, delivering complex electrical construction projects across the Carolinas and wider Southeast.

The business has a strong reputation within the industrial, manufacturing and technically complex construction markets, with capabilities spanning power distribution, medium voltage, switchgear, equipment installation, automation & controls, engineering, BIM and design-build.

They are now looking to add an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to their team to take ownership of major projects from preconstruction through successful completion.

  • Automated manufacturing environments
  • \n

  • Power distribution and medium-voltage systems

  • Design-build electrical projects
  • \n

  • Projects exceeding 300,000 SF
  • \n

  • Major developments with overall project values exceeding $300M
  • \n

The contractor has delivered work for a number of major national and international manufacturing organisations across the Southeast.

\n


\n

Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Lead electrical projects from preconstruction through completion
  • \n

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement and financial performance
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain strong client and General Contractor relationships
  • \n

  • Lead project teams including Project Engineers, Superintendents and field personnel
  • \n

  • Coordinate electrical design, engineering and BIM activities
  • \n

  • Manage subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • \n

  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs and submittals
  • \n

  • Oversee change management and project documentation
  • \n

  • Monitor project progress, costs and forecasting
  • \n

  • Coordinate equipment installation, power distribution and electrical systems
  • \n

  • Support commissioning, startup and project closeout
  • \n

  • Maintain strong standards across safety, quality and schedule
  • \n

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams
  • \n

What We're Looking For

\n


\n

    \n
  • Significant experience managing electrical construction projects
  • \n

  • Senior-level Project Management experience within an electrical contractor
  • \n

  • Experience with industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, healthcare or other technically complex projects
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of electrical construction and project delivery
  • \n

  • Experience managing large project budgets and multidisciplinary teams
  • \n

  • Strong client and General Contractor management skills
  • \n

  • Experience with preconstruction, estimating, procurement and project financials
  • \n

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project performance
  • \n

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • \n

\n


\n

Experience with medium voltage, power distribution, switchgear, automation, controls or industrial equipment installation would be highly advantageous.

\n

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Up to $250,000, dependent on experience and overall fit.
