Core responsibilities
- Team leadership: mentor technicians, set expectations, and promote knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshooting: diagnose faults in electronic systems and components using structured techniques.
- Service oversight: supervise installation, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure quality and speed.
- Reliability: build and execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
- Innovation: collaborate with engineering to refine existing designs and support new solution development.
- Documentation: track repairs, maintenance tasks, and manage electronic parts inventory accurately.
- Safety: enforce compliance with applicable safety standards and procedures.
- Training: deliver instruction on best practices, new technologies, and testing methods.
Required background
- Associate’s in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on electronic maintenance/repair, including 2+ years leading others.
- Strong command of circuitry, system diagnostics, and methodical troubleshooting.
- Skilled with electronic diagnostic instruments and testing software.
- Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive both independently and within a fast-moving team setting.
- Ongoing interest in learning and adopting new technologies.
- Demonstrated PLC programming experience.
