Title: Data Center Technician – L1

Location: Manassas, VA (Onsite)

Shift: Overnight / Graveyard Shift (3:00 PM Start)
\n
Duration: 12-Month Contract
\n
\n
Note: The first 30 days will follow a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule for onboarding and training. After training, candidates will transition to their assigned shift.

Role Overview:
\n
We are looking for a hands-on Data Center Technician – L1 to support data center operations for a leading client in Manassas, VA.
\n
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in rack and stack operations, server installation, cabling, and basic troubleshooting in a large-scale data center environment.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n

- Move pallets, uncrate racks, and unpack servers and other data center equipment.
- Assemble racks and install servers, PDUs, and other hardware.
- Perform equipment crating, uncrating, boxing, and unboxing.
- Handle basic troubleshooting, break/fix activities, and ticket resolution.
- Provide Level 1 support for data center infrastructure issues.
- Maintain accurate records and update customer systems.
- Support day-to-day data center operations as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale, on-premises data center.
- Strong rack and stack experience.
- Hands-on server installation and break/fix troubleshooting experience.
- Strong cabling, cable management, and cable dressing skills.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including power, space, cooling, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
