Help Desk Support Specialist | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Louisville KY 4022 – 100% on site
- Payrate: $21.52/hr
- Required Availability: Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM
Help Desk Support Specialist | Summary and Highlights:
The Help Desk Support Specialist role is perfect for candidates with solid IT support experience and a passion for resolving technical issues with patience and precision.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Help Desk Support Specialist | Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line support for hardware, software, and systems issues
- Troubleshoot escalated incidents from Level 1 Service Desk
- Support and guide junior analysts
- Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution
- Assist with software installs, backups, and tech rollouts
- Maintain and create documentation in a knowledge base
- Act as a liaison between end users, IT support, and management
Help Desk Support Specialist | Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 2+ years in a customer support/IT help desk role
- Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop tools & ticketing systems
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 365, Outlook
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Bonus points for certifications (Net+, CCNA, ITIL, etc.)
- Experience with RingCentral or NICE InContact is a plus
