We're seeking an Application Engineer II in the Inland Empire to design and configure control systems for commercial building automation projects.
Impact
- Design controls that deliver 25 to 35 percent energy savings for commercial facilities.
- Improve building performance and occupant comfort through smart sequences.
- Give project teams the technical depth that makes installations succeed.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and design of building automation control systems.
- Write programming and configuration specifications.
- Develop control sequences for HVAC optimization and efficiency.
- Work with project managers and field teams on implementation.
- Test and troubleshoot systems.
- Produce sequences of operation and point databases.
- Support installation and commissioning.
- Review specifications and recommend design improvements.
Must-Haves
- Three or more years in BAS design and programming.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with BAS programming platforms.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control principles.
- Commercial construction experience.
Nice-to-Haves
- Niagara or Distech certification.
- Energy modeling experience.
