Job Description
Systems & Master Data Analyst\n
Location: Windham / Willimantic, CT (on‑site required)
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000
\nOur client is looking for a hands‑on Systems / Master Data Analyst to help stabilize and modernize how data flows through the business. This role is critical to ensuring operational systems work correctly as the company completes a transition from a legacy, on‑prem environment to a cloud‑based platform.
\nThis is not a reporting or BI role. The focus is cleaning up messy data, fixing broken processes, and making systems work end‑to‑end.\n
What you’ll be responsible for\n
- \n
- Cleaning, standardizing, and maintaining master data, much of which currently lives in Excel
- Fixing historical data issues caused by workarounds and inconsistent inputs
- Migrating and integrating clean data into a cloud‑based operational system
- Ensuring data flows correctly into downstream systems (QC, ticketing, batching, scale/plant operations)
- Working directly with operations, QC, and back‑office users to understand how the business actually runs
- Entering and maintaining new products, materials, and configurations as needed
- Serving as the go‑to person for data and system questions related to day‑to‑day operations
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nWhat they’re looking for\n
- \n
- Strong Excel data cleanup experience (large, messy files, not just formulas)
- Hands‑on master data management experience
- Comfort working in operational environments where systems directly impact production
- Ability to work on‑site, walk the operation, and partner with non‑technical users
- Detail‑oriented, practical, and willing to “clean the mess” rather than redesign everything
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nWhy this role matters\nRight now, data issues are preventing systems from working as designed. This person will play a key role in getting the company fully live on the new platform and keeping it running smoothly going forward.
