About the Opportunity

We're seeking a Investment Data Analyst to support enterprise investment data initiatives within a leading asset management organization. This role bridges investments, technology, and data management, ensuring critical investment data remains accurate, reliable, and accessible across the business.

The ideal candidate brings direct experience within asset management, investment management, or institutional investing environments, along with strong SQL and data analysis skills.

What You'll Do

- Manage and support investment data including security master, reference, pricing, benchmark, holdings, transaction, and market data.
- Investigate and resolve complex data issues through root-cause analysis and data validation.
- Partner with Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Investment Operations, and Technology teams.
- Develop and enhance data quality controls, reconciliations, and governance processes.
- Contribute to enterprise data warehouse and cloud data platform initiatives.
- Build and maintain data transformations, integrations, and automated workflows.
- Support data modeling, testing, lineage, and documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external data vendors to improve data processes.

Required Qualifications
\n

- 5+ years of experience in asset management, investment data, financial services, or related data-focused environments.
- Strong understanding of investment data and how it supports front, middle, and back-office functions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Security Master Data
- Reference Data
- Holdings & Transactions
- Pricing & Market Data
- Benchmarks & Performance Data
- Advanced SQL skills with proven troubleshooting and data analysis experience.
- Experience working across multiple systems, integrations, and data workflows.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Asset or institutional investment management experience.
- Experience with Charles River, Advent APX, or similar investment platforms.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, ICE, Moody's, Fitch, or S&P data.
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or modern cloud data platforms.
- Python experience for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, ETL/ELT, and master data management.
