Location: Knoxville, TN – Fully Onsite

Pay: $29.44 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Occasional overtime may be required

Snelling Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hardware Test & Production Technician to support engineering and manufacturing operations in Knoxville.
\n
This is a hands-on position responsible for testing, configuring, calibrating, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware products. When testing volume is lower, the technician will also assist the production team with assembly, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.

Responsibilities

- Set up, configure, test, calibrate, and upgrade hardware products
- Follow engineering procedures, schematics, and work instructions
- Operate test equipment and complete required product testing
- Accurately document test results and quality records
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and system issues
- Assist with assembly and warehouse support when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production and engineering goals as assigned

- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Manufacturing, production, electronics, or hardware-testing experience preferred
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal generators, or similar test equipment
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Cisco hardware or networking knowledge is helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Dependable, accountable, and comfortable supporting multiple operational areas
