We are seeking a driven and highly organized Contract Manufacturing Project Manager to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across the organization. This role serves as a key liaison between executive leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring projects remain on track, aligned with company objectives, and executed efficiently.
The ideal candidate has strong project management experience within a manufacturing environment and excels at driving accountability, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This position will work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, to support critical business initiatives, operational improvements, facility upgrades, equipment installations, and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple manufacturing and company-wide projects from initiation through completion.
- Partner with executive leadership to define project priorities, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and action-item tracking systems.
- Coordinate activities across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and other functional departments.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide clear communication regarding progress, risks, delays, and next steps.
- Monitor project deliverables and hold team members accountable for assigned actions and deadlines.
- Identify risks, obstacles, and resource constraints, developing mitigation plans and escalating concerns as needed.
- Maintain organized project documentation, timelines, dashboards, meeting notes, and status reports.
- Support equipment installations, facility improvements, process implementations, operational enhancement projects, and product launch activities.
- Ensure projects continue moving forward during periods when executive leadership is unavailable or traveling.
- Assist leadership teams in balancing competing priorities and allocating resources effectively.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project execution, communication, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience within manufacturing, contract manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, machining, or other regulated industries.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management software and reporting tools preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in medical device, ISO-regulated, FDA-regulated, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational excellence principles.
- Experience supporting facility expansions, capital equipment projects, process improvements, or new product introductions.
