Position – IT Support Analyst

Job Location – Neenah, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Long-Term Temporary / Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift

Starting Pay –$22-28/hour DOE

Required Education – Formal education in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications may be considered

Required Experience – Two to five years of desktop support or related information technology experience

Position Summary

SEEK Careers/Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to provide frontline technical support in accordance with established service-management procedures. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting network, software, hardware, and workplace equipment issues.

You will install and replace computers, smartphones, printers, and collaboration tools while supporting local servers, networks, applications, and IT assets. This position also involves managing customer support tickets, educating users, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with local and global IT teams.


Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and professional IT support to internal users.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for network, software, hardware, and equipment issues.
  • Install, configure, replace, and support computers, smartphones, printers, and collaboration tools.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Intel-based computers.
  • Process, prioritize, document, and take ownership of customer support tickets.
  • Support local servers and networks in collaboration with additional IT teams.
  • Administer and track company-owned hardware and software assets.
  • Train and educate users on workplace technology and collaboration tools.
  • Support local applications according to established policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to improvements in IT services, support processes, and knowledge databases.
  • Follow internal and external audit requirements.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical resources.
  • Travel between local facilities and occasionally to domestic locations when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Two to five years of desktop support or information technology experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Intel-based personal computing environments.
  • Understanding of ITIL service-management practices is preferred.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting computers, printers, smartphones, and related equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose network connectivity, software, and hardware issues.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support users at different technical skill levels.
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, resolution, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with local and remote IT teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between local sites as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Professional office and technology-support environment.
  • Frequent computer use and interaction with workplace technology.
  • Regular movement throughout the facility to assist users and install equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Daily travel between local facilities may be required.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be necessary.
