Job Description

Job DescriptionSamyak Solutions, Inc. (SSI) supports Leidos, Inc. as a subcontractor, providing professional and technical services to the SNS. This position provides hands-on developer and platform configuration support to SNS operations at the Atlanta, GA facility.

The Power Platform & Operations Developer provides hands-on technical configuration, automation, dashboard development, and AI-enabled workflow support to the SNS operational environment. This is a low-code platform development role — not a software engineering, web development, or business analysis position. The right candidate builds things: Power BI dashboards, Power Automate workflows, WebEOC configurations, and M365 solutions that keep SNS operations running at mission-ready standards every working day.

This role is ideal for candidates who live in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem — people who configure enterprise platforms, build automated workflows, and create operational dashboards in a Government or regulated environment. If your background is primarily in business analysis, IT project management, or traditional software development, this is likely not the right fit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Configuration & Administration

• Configure, administer, and maintain WebEOC (or similar enterprise emergency management applications) supporting SNS preparedness and operational response activities.

• Configure and manage forms, workflows, routing logic, role-based access controls (RBAC), and application settings in accordance with Government-approved requirements.

• Support configuration management, change control, system testing, and ongoing application sustainment activities.

• Implement approved system enhancements in collaboration with Government stakeholders to maintain operational readiness.

Automation & Dashboard Development

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports to support SNS leadership and program visibility.

• Design and implement low-code workflow automations using Microsoft 365 technologies including Power Automate, SharePoint, and related enterprise tools.

• Build and maintain tools, templates, and databases that support SNS operational and administrative functions.

AI-Enabled Workflow Support

• Utilize Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar Government-approved AI tools to improve documentation, reporting, workflow efficiency, and operational processes.

• Apply AI tools in a human-in-the-loop model consistent with Government AI governance policies; maintain documentation of AI tool usage and outputs.

• Stay current on AI productivity capabilities and recommend improvements to the Government for consideration.

Documentation & Training

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, operational runbooks, and user training materials in accordance with Government standards.

• Ensure all documentation meets Section 508 accessibility requirements where applicable.

• Submit a Monthly Report summarizing Task 1 Developer activities no later than the 5th of each month.

Emergency Operations & Surge Support

• Support emergency operations and surge activities as required by SNS mission needs; overtime may be required and will be compensated at straight time with written Leidos authorization.

• Carry a mobile communications device at all times (except during leave or commercial air travel); respond to SNS system alerts within 15 minutes of receipt.

• In the event of a missed SNS alert response, support submission of an After Action Report within two business days explaining the reason for the missed response.
