Senior Project Manager – Fire Sprinkler / Data Centers (Travel)

Salary: up to $165k DOE + Travel

We're working with an established, growing fire protection contractor to hire a Senior Project Manager for its data center division. You'll lead large, technically complex fire sprinkler installations in one of the fastest-growing parts of commercial construction, and you'll have full ownership of your projects and a supportive leadership team behind you.

What you'll do
\n
- \n
- Manage data center fire sprinkler projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and margin
- Serve as the main contact for customers, GCs, and inspectors
- Manage change orders promptly and drive margin improvement on every job
- Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and review budget-vs-actual job costing
- Oversee subcontractors and approve their invoices
- Coordinate superintendents, designers, estimators, and project coordinators on schedules, fabrication, and deliveries
- Make sure work meets NFPA codes, project specifications, and AHJ requirements
- Lead with a safety-first approach, including regular jobsite visits and holding the team accountable

What you bring
\n
- \n
- 5+ years of fire sprinkler construction project management experience
- NICET Level II or higher
- Strong NFPA knowledge and the ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Experience with Procore or similar project management software
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel
