Summary - QA/QC Field Technician: We are currently seeking candidates interested in working in a field-based inspection position. Training and development will be provided for candidates that do not currently possess the necessary certifications for experience.
Work Environment: Active construction sites with some overnights and weekends.
Responsibility Summary - QA/QC Field Technician:
- Responsible for performing routine tests as required on raw materials, process components and final product to ensure that the requirements of the specifications and customers are met.
- Follow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned
- Assist internal and external customers in any quality related matters
- Collaborate with technical staff as well as customer service and operations personnel to aid in the successful completion of inspections and testing of asphalt, concrete, and soils
- Paid overtime and occasional weekend work may be required during the peak season
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Assist with other functions of the business as necessary
Qualification Summary - QA/QC Field Technician:
- High Scholl Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work some night and weekends
- Valid state driver's license
