Pay Range: $55-$60/hr
Experience: 0–5 years
The position of Application Developer requires specialized knowledge in computer science, engineering, and information technology. The minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, which provides the analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills necessary to perform the duties of the position.
Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and related technologies.

Develop and maintain application components, APIs, and backend services based on business and technical requirements.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code following established development standards.

Develop basic scripts and utilities using Python to support application development, automation, data processing, and troubleshooting activities.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and functional testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes and enhancements.

Work with databases and write basic to intermediate SQL queries for application development and data validation.

Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems through APIs and web services.

Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Participate in code reviews and follow established coding, security, version-control, and documentation standards.

Use source control tools such as Git to manage and maintain application code.

Assist with application deployments, configuration, monitoring, and production support activities.

Continuously learn and apply new technologies, development practices, and tools to improve application performance and maintainability.

Document technical solutions, application changes, and development processes as required.
