Description

The Network and Cloud Security Administrator will perform a variety of projects to support the networks and Microsoft cloud infrastructure for small to medium financial and healthcare institutions throughout Indiana. This is a full-time position with approximately 40% work from home, 40% work from office, and 20% day-travel up to 3.5 hours one-way for client support.


The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have substantial experience supporting and configuring firewalls, switches, and wireless. A significant amount of experience with Microsoft cloud products such as Intune and Entra ID is also necessary. A strong ability to learn and expand is also necessary as this position will be expected to learn various systems used for monitoring as well as security and remediation. A background in cyber security is helpful.


Due to the size of our company, this position will also be expected to perform a moderate amount of tier I/II support. We are looking for someone who doesn't feel this type of work is beneath them as everyone in our company contributes to these lower-level support tasks.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain networks for small companies ranging from one to three sites. Our primary vendor is Fortinet, so experience with Fortinet is desired. However, those experienced with SonicWall or other primarily GUI based firewall/switch vendors should have no trouble learning Fortinet.
  • Maintain and improve our security posture with Microsoft 365 including, but not limited to, Entra ID, Intune, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Perform ongoing review and remediation of security and vulnerability issues. This entails learning our various platforms.
    • Kaseya 365 Endpoint and User suites
    • Sentinel One Complete (and other endpoint protection platforms)
    • Adlumin Advanced MDR
    • Rapidfire Tools (Vulscan, Network Detective Pro, and Cyber Hawk)
    • vPENTEST
  • Provide Tier I/II help desk and project-level Service Desk functions to include evaluating, processing/resolving, reporting, and tracking of trouble tickets
  • Monitor trouble ticket queues, entering and managing software problem incidents.
  • Coordinate with other support center staff and/or ticket originator to confirm and/or facilitate timely resolution of client issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires minimum 5+ years of prior relevant experience in a highly technical environment.
  • College Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to interact and assist customer team members at a variety of levels and technical capabilities. i
  • Must be able to learn quickly, work independently, be detail-oriented, and excellent time management skills.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Must have the ability to own a technical task and work it to completion.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in an operations support role.

Additional experience desired but not required.

  • Auditing, such as PCI, HIPAA, and General Audit
  • Cybersecurity experience
