Job Description
DigitalCM is seeking a Senior Apple Developer to help architect the next generation of our software platforms. This is a senior technical position for an engineer capable of moving between Apple development, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, networking, security, backend architecture, and emerging technologies.
Job Summary
- Develop applications spanning iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Lead Swift/SwiftUI development.
- Develop RealityKit/ARKit-based immersive experiences.
- Integrate local LLMs and other AI/ML capabilities.
- Design offline-first and edge-computing architectures.
- Integrate secure local databases and backend services.
- Establish testing, security, and code-quality standards.
- Conduct code and security reviews.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers.
- Diagnose difficult engineering problems and help transition prototypes into production-quality products.
- Work directly with company leadership and customers on advanced technology initiatives.
Job Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Advanced Swift/SwiftUI expertise and strong software architecture background.
- Experience shipping production Apple applications.
- Strong networking, API, and database knowledge.
- Git-based development, API integration, SQL/local data and CI/CD experience.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Comply with the provisions of the corporations Standard Practice Procedures manual and DoD 5220.22-M when handling classified material to include generating, marking, storing, handling, and destroying of classified material
Preferred Skills
- Spatial Computing experience using Vision Pro and Quest
- VisionOS, RealityKit, ARKit, RoomPlan, Metal, LiDAR, GIS, and 3D graphics.
- Local LLMs, RAG, machine learning, and edge computing.
- Cybersecurity, Rust, Python, C/C++, or related systems technologies.
