Overview:
Seeking a Quality Technician to support day-to-day inspection activities within a metals manufacturing environment. This role ensures parts meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished components
- Use basic and advanced precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and indicators
- Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications
- Document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality reports
- Support first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections
- Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
- Maintain calibration and proper care of all inspection tools and equipment
- Follow company quality procedures, safety standards, and ISO/AS quality system requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in metals or machining/manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
1st shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
