Job Description: Senior EUC Systems Engineer (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EUC Systems Engineer to lead onsite IT operations for Elevated Materials. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives in a "Modern Workplace" environment, leveraging the full Microsoft 365 and Entra suite to manage endpoints.
You will be the primary technical lead for onsite "hands and feet" support, managing a localized Azure footprint and specialized Lab environments across 2 local office sites. While a dedicated team manages the core network, you will act as the critical onsite liaison, utilizing your device management, networking and IT support knowledge to ensure seamless IT systems connectivity, performance and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud-First Endpoint Management
- Intune & Autopilot: Lead the design and deployment of configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application packaging. Manage the full device lifecycle via Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).
- Microsoft 365 & Entra ID: Administer the M365 tenant, managing user identities, groups, and security permissions within Microsoft Entra.
- Automation: Utilize scripting (PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks, streamline software deployments, and enhance system reporting.
2. Onsite Operations & Lab Support
- Multi-Site Presence: Provide high-touch support across 2local office locations, ensuring physical infrastructure (computers, docking stations, peripherals, meeting rooms) is operational.
- Critical Lab Environments: Own the IT uptime for specialized Lab environments, managing non-standard workstations and ensuring they adhere to corporate security standards.
- White-Glove Service: Provide dedicated, priority technical support to C-suite executives and senior leadership.
AV Systems & Meeting Support: Provide support for conference room AV systems and live support during important business meetings.Device Provisioning & Support: Provision, enroll and configure laptop devices, phones and peripherals for new hires and support existing employee and engineering lab equipment.
3. Network Coordination (Cisco Meraki)
- Liaison & Coordination: Act as the "eyes and ears" for the centralized Network Team. Use the Cisco Meraki dashboard to perform basic troubleshooting, port status checks, and local diagnostic tasks for routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Hardware Support: Manage the physical installation and "smart hands" support for network hardware upgrades or replacements.
4. Azure Administration
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage a small-scale Azure environment, including the monitoring and maintenance of existing virtual machines (VMs), storage, and resource groups.[JD1]
Required Technical Skills
- Endpoint Management: Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Identity & Cloud: Proficient in Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and M365 administration.
- Scripting: Strong ability to write and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for environment-wide automation.
- Networking: Foundational knowledge of Cisco Meraki (SD-WAN, Switching, Wireless) to facilitate effective coordination with the network engineering team.
- Hardware: Extensive experience with "Hands & Feet" support for PC hardware, printers, AV systems and specialized lab equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 8+ years in IT Systems Administration with a heavy focus on End-User Computing (EUC) and Managed Services.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and work collaboratively with remote specialized teams (e.g., Network and Security teams).
- Logistics: Ability to travel between local office sites as required (must have a valid driver’s license).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS) or CCNA knowledge
- ITIL Foundation v4
