Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Senior Project Manager in Honolulu to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from award through closeout for a mechanical contractor.
Impact
- Deliver medium and large mechanical projects on time and on budget.
- Build client relationships that turn into repeat work.
- Mentor junior project managers and strengthen the bench.
Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC and plumbing projects from one million to forty million dollars.
- Own schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Lead project meetings and keep stakeholders current.
- Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Watch project financials and correct course early.
- Develop project engineers and assistant project managers.
- Run closeout: punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
Must-Haves
- Eight or more years managing commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
- A track record on schools, high-rises, hotels, hospitals, and mixed-use buildings.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working in Hawaii's construction market.
- Design-build project background.
Compensation and Logistics
