POSITION SUMMARY

The Junior Software Developer supports the design, development, and maintenance of internal applications, automations, and data solutions that improve business operations. This role works closely with management and operations teams to streamline processes, support end users, and deliver data-driven insights while gaining experience across software development, automation, and analytics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot internal applications and software solutions.
Create and support automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain integrations between business systems, databases, and manufacturing platforms.
Write and optimize SQL queries, reports, and data extracts.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and support business decisions.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot software-related issues for end users.
Test, debug, and document applications to ensure reliability and performance.
Maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and user guides.
Support data security, system integrity, and cybersecurity best practices.
Collaborate with operations and management teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Assist with application maintenance, updates, and incident resolution.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This position operates in a professional office environment while regularly supporting employees and systems throughout the manufacturing facility. The Junior Software Developer works closely with operations, production, and management teams to support business applications, troubleshoot system issues, and implement process improvements. The role involves a combination of computer-based work, collaboration with end users, and occasional time spent in production and warehouse areas to support software, hardware, and operational systems. Employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, equipment, and warehouse conditions while supporting facility-wide technology needs.
