About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead moderate to complex programs, bringing fresh perspective to existing plans and goals. This role works independently across most issues, providing direction on overall program strategy while owning the majority of deliverables within the implementation plan. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can translate complex findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders at all levels, from project teams to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete moderate to complex problem-solving, applying new perspectives to existing solutions, plans, and goals
- Work independently, providing direction on overall program plans and objectives
- Own most or all deliverables within the program implementation plan
- Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management
- Develop budget forecasts and conduct variance analysis, proposing solutions to address gaps
- Develop new and ad-hoc reports, summarizing findings and delivering actionable business insight
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related program/project management experience
- Advanced knowledge of program management principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams
- Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects under demanding time constraints
- Experience working within a regulated environment
Preferred:
- Knowledge of business drivers and their impact on program strategy
- Ability to assess and recommend solutions across assigned projects
- Familiarity with energy industry applications for local/customer-level operations, including energy issues, customer energy efficiency programs, and general customer information
