Overview
We are seeking experienced Workday HRIS Architects to join a collaborative team
supporting enterprise-wide Human Resources technology initiatives. Multiple
openings are available at both the Architect and Senior Architect levels.
This role will focus on designing, supporting, and enhancing Workday solutions across
various HR functional areas. Qualified candidates should possess deep expertise
in one or more Workday modules and serve as a subject matter expert for HR
systems, processes, and integrations.

- 4-5+ years of relevant HRIS/Workday experience

Note: Candidates with specialized expertise in one or multiple modules listed above are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, implement, and support Workday HRIS solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR systems, processes, and best practices.
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate business requirements and design scalable HR technology solutions.
- Provide consultation on HRIS architecture, configuration, and optimization.
- Review system data, reporting, and integrations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness and user experience.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain software and system solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and support materials.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Workday HRIS architecture, configuration, and support.
- Experience supporting one or more Workday functional areas such as Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Learning, Talent Development, or Performance Management.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of system implementation methodologies, testing, deployment, and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with process improvement and optimization initiatives.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $63.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
