Quality has always been at the center of what we do at BDC Brands, and we're raising the bar even further. As we grow, we're expanding our 5S practices and giving quality an even bigger role on the plant floor, all backed by our ISO 9001 certification. We're looking for a Quality Control Technician to help lead that next step.

This is a hands-on role for someone with lab or chemistry-testing experience who's organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently. You'll test raw materials and finished products, run in-process inspections, and help keep our quality records airtight.
\n
\n
What you'll do:
\n
- \n
- Test raw materials, batches, and finished products against spec
- Run in-process quality inspections during manufacturing and shipping
- Operate, clean, and calibrate lab equipment
- Document and organize test results, COAs, SDS, and quality records
- Support nonconformance investigations and corrective actions
- Conduct process audits and help train employees on quality/safety procedures
- Write and update SOPs as needed
- Maintain inventories of finished goods, raw materials, retain samples, and lab chemicals

Additional quality duties may be assigned by the Technical Director and Plant Manager.

What you'll need:
\n
- \n
- General lab or chemistry-testing experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Vision sufficient to inspect products and judge color accuracy

Nice to have:
\n
- \n
- Experience with 5S, Six Sigma, GMP, or another formal quality system
- SOP writing experience
- Background in manufacturing or warehouse settings
\n

\n
\n
\n
Some exposure to moving equipment, airborne particles, and chemicals is part of the job. Standard PPE (gloves, boots, eyewear) provided.

\n
