About the Opportunity:ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale Azure and AI initiatives for a major Midwest retail organization.
This on-site role in Grand Rapids, MI owns the full project lifecycle from concept through deployment. The focus is strong schedule and timeline management, combined with experience delivering cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure and AI-driven technologies.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
- Manage multiple concurrent Azure and AI initiatives to on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Establish project governance, reporting cadence, and executive-level status communications.
- Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively address schedule variances.
- Own scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures across the project lifecycle.
- Provide day-to-day direction to project resources.
- Ensure effective change management throughout the project.
- Prepare documentation, status reports, and budgets.
- Drive stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and adoption of AI-enabled business solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of project management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle from definition through implementation.
- Strong schedule and timeline management skills (must-have).
- Experience delivering Microsoft Azure and AI-driven technology projects.
- Accountability for meeting agreed scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
- Experience establishing communication plans with project teams and key stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience in retail or large enterprise operations environments.
- Prior delivery of AI / automation adoption programs with measurable business outcomes.
