What You'll Experience

Picture your day: you review the test queue alongside Production and Engineering, prep a skid for hydrostatic testing, then bring a dosing pump online to dial-in precise calibration. You validate drawings, record every data point, tag the system, and stage spare parts so each order ships complete. When something isn't right, you spot it quickly, coordinate with Engineering, and make minor fixes so the build stays on track—all while following strict safety practices.

Role Summary

Own the hydro testing and calibration of ProMinent systems (skids) to verify leak-free piping, confirm pump capacities meet Engineering specifications, and ensure equipment operates to requirement and drawings are correct.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the Test Department schedule aligned with Production and Engineering timelines.
• Compare builds to drawings; escalate discrepancies to the Test Supervisor and Engineering.
• Execute functional tests, pump calibrations, hydro/pressure tests, and document results.
• Maintain accurate quality records, test forms, and time logs.
• Label and tag finished systems clearly and completely.
• Verify picked components against the order BOM; stage and safeguard spare parts in the Test Department and ensure they ship with the skid(s).
• Care for, track, and properly maintain departmental tools and fixtures.
• Consistently follow all safety procedures and best practices.
• Perform quick, minor skid repairs as agreed to keep orders moving.
• Report failed parts to Quality Control for NCMR processing.

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable with measurement tools and hand tools.
• Ability to analyze mechanical and electro-mechanical failures and read schematic drawings.
• Mathematical skills needed for accurate calibration and testing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and stretching.
• Manual dexterity and safe tool usage.
• Adaptable to changing priorities; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to work overtime and support other departments when required.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to obtain in-house forklift and vehicle certifications upon request.

Bonus Experience

• 9+ months building ProMinent systems (skids).
