Senior IT Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

GForce Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support network upgrades and technology implementations within a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role will manage multiple projects and partner with IT, Quality, Manufacturing, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead projects from planning through implementation, go-live, post-launch support, and closeout.
- Manage timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and vendor deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, project governance, stakeholder communications, and cutover planning.
- Drive change management and adoption of new systems and processes.
- Maintain project documentation, financial tracking, and status reporting.

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience with a strong IT project management background.
- Experience implementing network upgrades in a GxP environment and managing third-party vendors.
- Proven Waterfall project management experience.
- Project experience across at least two areas: IT, Quality, Labs, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and organizational skills.
- Pharmaceutical or biotech experience strongly preferred; Quality/Lab systems experience, including LIMS, beneficial.
- Familiarity with Planview, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft collaboration tools; PMP a plus.

Travel & Schedule
\n
Onsite availability is preferred; remote candidates may be considered. Candidates must be available for approximately two onsite implementation periods annually, lasting about two weeks each. These periods may include holidays and weekends, with additional weekend support needed for occasional projects.
