Position Overview

\n

We are seeking a Data Science & AI Automation Analyst with strong programming skills and a passion for technology, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

\n

This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing proprietary technology solutions that support investment management, financial analysis, business operations, and client reporting.

\n

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can independently write code, manage complex datasets, develop automation workflows, and utilize emerging AI technologies to create scalable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Software Development & AI Integration

\n

\n
• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications and internal tools using Python and SQL.

\n

• Utilize AI-assisted development platforms, including OpenAI Codex and Anthropic Claude Code, to accelerate software development, debugging, and system optimization.

\n

• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into existing business processes, investment research, and operational workflows.

\n

• Develop AI-powered tools, agents, and automated systems that improve productivity and reduce manual processes.

\n

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications across the organization.

\n

\n

\n

Data Science & Database Management

\n

\n
• Design, structure, maintain, and optimize relational databases and complex datasets.

\n

• Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting.

\n

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines for efficient data integration across multiple platforms.

\n

• Develop scalable data models and architecture that support financial analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.

\n

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and reliability across internal systems.

\n

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.

\n

\n

\n

Automation Engineering & Systems Integration

\n

\n
• Design and implement automated workflows that streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.

\n

• Build integrations between internal databases, third-party applications, APIs, and financial technology platforms.

\n

• Develop automated processes for data collection, reconciliation, reporting, and performance monitoring.

\n

• Identify operational bottlenecks and develop technology-driven solutions.

\n

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing automation systems.

\n

\n

\n

Dashboards, Analytics & Business Intelligence

\n

\n
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and data visualization tools for management and investment teams.

\n

• Build automated reporting solutions that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.

\n

• Develop KPI tracking systems, financial analytics dashboards, and operational performance reports.

\n

• Utilize platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit, or comparable visualization technologies.

\n

• Support the development of proprietary investment analytics and portfolio management tools.

\n

\n

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Strong proficiency in Python, including experience developing production-level scripts, applications, and automation tools.

\n

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.

\n

• Practical experience utilizing OpenAI Codex and Anthropic Claude Code for AI-assisted software engineering.

\n

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and automated workflows.

\n

• Strong understanding of database architecture, data structures, and data integration.

\n

• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating third-party software platforms.

\n

• Ability to develop dashboards, analytical reports, and data visualization applications.

\n

• Familiarity with Git, version control, software testing, and debugging.

\n

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently solve complex technical problems.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics preferred.

\n

• Experience in financial services, investment management, FinTech, or financial data analytics.

\n

• Familiarity with machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and AI agent development.

\n

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or comparable database systems.

\n

• Experience with Python libraries including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and FastAPI.

\n

• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.

\n

• Experience developing proprietary internal software solutions and financial reporting platforms.

\n

• Knowledge of data security, access controls, and responsible AI implementation.

\n
