Role Description The Project Engineer role at Tikur Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN. The Project Engineer will oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, coordinating technical activities, timelines, and resources to meet project goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project plans, producing and reviewing engineering designs and documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves monitoring project progress, managing risks, supporting field implementation, and ensuring adherence to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. The Project Engineer will also communicate regularly with stakeholders, prepare status reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and practices.

- Strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to practical, real-world projects.
- Experience in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (e.g., CAD platforms, analysis tools) and familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, and follow structured engineering and quality processes.
- Experience working in an on-site engineering or construction environment and coordinating with contractors or vendors is beneficial.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
