Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Maintenance: responsible for the daily management and performance of the website, ensuring functionality and reliability while coordinating with the web hosting agency on maintenance and development projects.
- UI/UX Design for Web & Digital Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to create responsive, visually appealing, and user-centric websites for our chiropractic clinics. Develop landing pages, promotional assets, and other digital marketing materials aligned with our brand’s objectives and user needs.
- Custom WordPress Theme & Plugin Development: Customize and maintain WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring performance, security, and functionality are top-notch. Work closely with the web agency team to integrate designs and ensure seamless site operations.
- Performance Optimization: Regularly assess website performance and optimize site speed, load times, and overall user experience. Ensure that the clinic's website and landing pages are responsive and fast across all devices.
- Security Maintenance: Monitor and implement the latest security practices, keeping the site safe. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to site security, performance, and functionality.
- User Experience (UX) Research & Testing: Conduct user research to better understand the needs and pain points of potential patients and website visitors. Use wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing to iterate and improve the design based on feedback.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with marketing, content, and other teams to align website design and content with digital campaigns, enhancing user engagement and conversion.
- Technical SEO & Analytics: Monitor and optimize website performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to track KPIs and gain insights into user behavior. Oversee technical SEO by managing site health, resolving crawl errors, optimizing metadata, implementing schema markup (e.g., via YOAST), improving site speed, and ensuring proper indexing of all pages.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on trends and best practices in UI/UX design and digital marketing to ensure that the clinic’s website is always evolving and providing the best possible experience for users.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Expert-Level WordPress Knowledge: Extensive experience in WordPress development, including creating, customizing, and optimizing themes and plugins.
- UI/UX Design Expertise: Solid understanding of design principles like color theory, typography, and layout. Proven ability to create intuitive and aesthetically appealing user interfaces.
- Advanced Front-End Development Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for crafting responsive, cross-browser-compatible designs that integrate seamlessly with WordPress.
- UX/UI Design Tools: Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma or Illustrator. Ability to create detailed designs and functional prototypes.
- Data-Driven Design: Strong understanding of user analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Able to interpret data to drive design decisions and improve user engagement.
- Attention to Detail & Problem Solving: A keen eye for design and quality, with a strong problem-solving mindset to troubleshoot technical and design challenges.
- Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: Able to clearly communicate design ideas to both technical and non-technical team members. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or wellness brand design.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies for increasing online patient acquisition.
