Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Application Development Project Manager to join our team in Chula Vista, California. In this role, you will lead project management efforts for the Airbus A220 and Embraer E190-E2 programs, ensuring the successful execution of schedules, deliverables, and product improvements. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to collaborate across multiple disciplines to drive quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee project management for Airbus A220 and Embraer E190-E2 programs, including cost, schedule, and coordination.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive, multi-disciplinary schedules involving engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Track key deliverables and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Lead initiatives to improve producibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness of production processes.
• Drive cost reduction activities through engineering changes, supply chain optimization, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Manage risk proactively to minimize impacts on schedule, quality, and business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of supply chain logistics, manufacturing, and engineering deliverables.
• Facilitate the implementation of product improvements for in-service aircraft.
• Monitor financial aspects of the program, ensuring alignment with business plans and cost targets.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with specifications and agreements.• Proven experience in project management within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, supply chain logistics, and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in financial planning, cost reduction strategies, and business plan alignment.
• Familiarity with risk management practices and tools.
• Ability to create and manage complex schedules involving multiple disciplines.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace standards.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
